Now in its second year, the Publishing Innovation Awards honor excellent digital content that enriches and delights readers in 14 categories. Since the first Publishing Innovation awards were given at Digital Book World Conference + Expo 2011, we’ve expanded the titles eligible for entry.

All titles entered into the Ebook, Enhanced Ebook, Self-Published, and Digital First categories are eligible for QED consideration. For more on the QED judging process, read our guidelines.

* For the purposes of judging the Publishing Innovation Awards and QED, an enhanced ebook may be defined as one that includes audio, video, javascript, fixed-layout, or other similar enhancements. Apps may be defined as those downloaded and exclusively available through an app marketplace, such as Apple’s iTunes.
